Central New York Biotech Accelerator (CNYBAC) is Upstate Medical University's NYS Certified Business incubator/accelerator serving for-profit healthtech, pharmaceutical, biologic, and medical device startup companies that are actively commercializing a biotech-related product or service.
CNYBAC on-site clients license space in our wet labs, and both on-site and virtual clients gain access to Upstate’s clinical and basic science faculty and state-of-the-art CORE Research Facilities. All clients gain mentorship and matched resources assistance within a vibrant innovation ecosystem and member discounts, and are eligible to apply to the Upstate Biotech Ventures equity-based investment fund developed in partnership with Empire State Development, SUNY Research Foundation, Upstate Medical University, and Excell Partners.
