Biography
Brian Bronson, MD, serves as a Clinical Professor, Vice-Chair for Hospital Clinical Affairs, and the Director of the Consultation-Liaison (C-L) Psychiatry Division and Fellowship Program in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Stony Brook University. He completed his medical education and residency training at New York University, and a joint fellowship in Public Psychiatry at Columbia University/New York State Psychiatric Institute with Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry/Primary Care Tract at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Bronson has served in C-L Psychiatry leadership roles throughout his career. His research interests include the study of novel, value-added models of integrated psychiatric and substance use care in acute medical settings.
