Dr. Manganello studies health literacy and the impacts of media and technology on people’s health, applying a broad range of skills and methodologies and conducting primary data collection and secondary data analysis. She has received funding from the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and has published in a range of journals in the field of medicine, public health and communication.
