Biography
Monika Roznere is an assistant professor at Binghamton University’s School of Computing. She received her PhD in computer science (2024) from Dartmouth College, where she worked in the Reality and Robotics Lab.
Roznere specializes in marine robotics with a notable passion in improving the perception capabilities of low-cost robotic systems while navigating in challenging underwater environments.
Her research has touched in areas of image enhancement, sensor fusion, camera models, robotic design, 3D reconstruction and path planning. Her research interests also include environmental monitoring, underwater historical site exploration and other projects that encompass an interdisciplinary effort.
