Biography
Received his Bachelor of Art in Art with concentrations in Graphic Design and Drawing from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2006. He received his Master of Fine Arts in Arts and Design with a concentration in Intermedia from West Virginia University in 2011.
Between 2010 and 2018, he consulted, founded, and served as an instructor and developer of the Studio Art: Cross Media track in the School of Fine Arts at Fairmont State University in Fairmont, WV.
He is currently serving as Program Coordinator and Associate Professor in the Interactive Media and Game Design Program in the College of Arts and Sciences at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY.
Research interests
AIX: Off-Grid Solar-Powered AI Research System (2025–Present)
Designed and deployed a GPU-powered artificial intelligence system operating on off-grid, solar-based infrastructure to support sustainable, distributed research collaboration and experimentation. This has led to collaboration with researchers from the Federal Institute of Technology Minna in creating a deployable framework to assist remote farming operations and sustainability.
Gamified Learning Platforms (Co-Principal Investigator) (2024–Present)
Co-PI on multiple interdisciplinary initiatives utilizing GPU-accelerated environments and interactive systems to enhance learning outcomes, including:
- Accounting education in collaboration with scholars from National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) (2025–Present)
- Accounting education in collaboration with the SUNY Polytechnic Institute College of Business (2025–Present)
- Fluid Mechanics education in collaboration with the SUNY Polytechnic Institute College of Engineering (2024–Present)
- Secure AI Infrastructure Development (OpenWebUI & Cloudflare Integrations) (2025–Present)
Development of secure, GPU-based retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and model-serving infrastructure to support academic, creative, and applied research workflows.
Health Sciences Multimedia Research Collaboration (2025–Present)
In collaboration with the SUNY Polytechnic Institute College of Health Sciences, developing an open-source, public-domain multimedia resource repository to support virtual nursing assessment procedures, with an initial focus on cardiovascular and respiratory evaluation scenarios.
