Abstract

This chapter provides a set of operational risk management questions that can be used to identify, analyze and adjudicate risk events. The questions are applied within a system context by identifying an operational scenario and focusing on the impact of an event to the set of system goals. The risk management questions can be aligned with the stages of the Human Viewpoint methodology and evaluated using the human performance metrics of the socio-technical system. An example of the risk management strategy is provided in the context of identifying and mitigating the human role in a phishing risk scenario.
