Abstract

The operations of all solid-state compact diode pumped Raman lasers with self-conversion on Nd:KGW and Yb:KYW crystals are described. Generation of a tunable radiation at the laser and Raman shifted frequencies is possible in Yb:KYW laser. The multimode laser diode with output power upto 1 W with thermoelectric cooler was used as a pump source. Multi-frequency Stokes generation was found when the laser generates at some frequencies. When Nd:KGW Raman laser operates, a blue luminescence in space channel of laser generation was observed.
