Abstract
Amino acid sequence studies have been conducted on the fibrinopeptides A and B from dromedary camel, mule deer, and cape buffalo. This brings to 11 the number of artiodactyl genera whose fibrinopeptides have been studied. The unique variability of these polypeptides provides information about genetic error frequency during the evolution of vertebrate proteins.
