Abstract
The anterior segment of the eye describes the space bordered by the cornea anteriorly and the iris and lens posteriorly. This chapter reviews manifestations of trauma to the anterior segment, with a focus on diagnostic and management strategies for the pediatric patient. The chapter highlights subconjunctival hemorrhage, hyphema, traumatic iritis, iris sphincter tear, iridodialysis, cyclodialysis, traumatic cataract, and lens subluxation.
