Abstract

Correction to: Communications Earth & Environmenthttps://doi.org/10.1038/s43247-025-02233-0, published online 14 April 2025 In the version of the article initially published, in the third paragraph of the “Climate impacts on Manoomin density” section, the reference “Magnuson, J.J., Carpenter, S.R. & Stanley, E.H. North Temperate Lakes LTER: Snow and Ice Depth 1982 - current ver 34. Environmental Data Initiative. https://doi.org/10.6073/pasta/038d117f5244b520f7f87ef41dba7a31 (2023)”, now ref. 41, was missing and has now been added. Additionally, in the Acknowledgements, the text now reading “..and Dr. Gretchen Gerrish for conversations about lake ice” has been amended for clarity. These corrections have been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
