College students' personal information management: From a perspective of information horizon theory

Abstract

This exploratory study examined college students' personal information management behaviors in three contexts from a perspective of information horizon theory. Findings suggest that students show different density and activeness in information behaviors in different context. Academic context was most active for all activities while health was the least.
