Abstract

A computer program DIODRAD was written to solve equations similar to Misawa's for radiation effects in IMPATT diodes. This program permits the user to select integration accuracy, doping profile, and operating conditions in calculating the effects of neutron fluence and gamma flux on diode performance. Results from this work compare favorably with previous theoretical and experimental data.
