Abstract
The proceedings of the symposium on Corrosion, Electrochemistry and Catalysis of Metastable Metals and Intermetallics provided an interdisciplinary forum to discuss the preparations techniques, properties and the surface characterisation of novel materials developed for high corrosion resistance, electrocatalytic activity and/or catalytic activity. The symposium embodied 35 papers covering aqueous corrosion and passivity of metastable metals; corrosion and oxidation of compounds and metastable metals; electrocatalysis and catalysis.
