Abstract
Small deviations of the I-V curves of normal-metal tunnel junctions from the Ohm law due to the Coulomb interaction of tunneling electrons are analyzed. The electrodynamical properties of the junction itself and properties of its electrodynamic environment manifest themselves in these deviations. Several practical conclusions are made that can be of importance for the interpretation of experimental results.
