Abstract
CT scanning provides an exquisite capability for diagnosis, not only in thyroid disease, but in a variety of other disorders affecting the structures about the thoracic inlet. Thyroid imaging is one such new and exciting diagnostic application of CT. The authors demonstrate the important addition of CT to clinical diagnosis of disorders in this complex region.
