Decay dynamics of matter-wave quantum emitters in a band structure

Abstract

We present experiments on radiative decay of quantum emitters in a band structure. Our waveguide-QED simulation, which explored variable vacuum couplings and the interplay of bound states, was performed with ultracold atomic matter waves in an optical lattice.
