Deceased Donor with Multiple Arteries

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Variations in kidney arterial vasculature have been reported in approximately 20–50% of patients [1, 2]. While short-term complications may be increased in recipients of allografts with altered anatomy, long-term graft and patient outcomes remain comparable [3]. In this case presentation, we describe the surgical management of a deceased donor kidney transplant with an accessory artery and review the current literature.
