Detection of phishing website using data mining techniques

The increases of phishing websites has led to political, law social problem. The internet users are less secure browsing the web. The stolen personal information are lightly used for commit a crime by the hacker. Therefore, this study aims to detect phishing website by using WEKA Software with different data mining techniques. The obtained result signifies that classification of Average accuracy and Suspicious have higher percentage in SMOTE compared to NO SMOTE while another classification of Legitimate and Phishy have higher percentage in NO SMOTE.
