Abstract

Interaction of two dirhodium catalysts [Rh₂(O₂CR)₄] (R = CMe₃ and CF₃) with methyl-p-methoxyphenyldiazo-acetate in the gas phase has resulted in the partial or complete loss of dinitrogen from diazo substrate and afforded two new hybrid products that are of interest for the further development of catalytic processes.
