Abstract

Expanding spectral coverage of ultra-intense, ultra-fast lasers into Long-Wave Infrared (~8-14 m) spectral range opens new opportunities for perfecting novel laser-based mechanisms of charged particle acceleration and generation of radiation from THz to gammas.
