Abstract

We report the first application of the magnetoreflection technique to study the pressure dependence of the electronic structure of bismuth and graphite. Values for the pressure dependence of selected energy band parameters are determined. Preliminary magnetoreflection results are also reported for graphite-bromine intercalation compounds.
