Abstract

This study considers skeleton simplification to eliminate excessive ramification. Simplification is performed before skeleton generation. A dynamic target navigation for virtual endoscopy is also proposed. Further, potentials derived from the distance between source and target positions and from the distance to the colon surface are combined to guide path search processes.
