Abstract

Internet access and usage for medical conditions is common amongst patient and physicians and can be a resourceful tool for both groups in the management of patients with thoracic outlet syndrome. There are multiple educational, easily accessible websites that provide non-biased, up to date treatment options for TOS. Websites should be scrutinized for their content, potential for commercial and personal bias and "updated history" to avoid medical pitfalls.
