Abstract
In our previous work [1], [2], we have presented Unequal Authenticity Protection (UAP), the methodology of effective protecting multimedia stream transmitted over error-prone wireless networks. In this paper, we extend the previous analysis and consider integrating UAP into the Joint Source-Channel Coding (JSCC) framework to achieve optimization of end-to-end quality of media content We further illustrate the effectiveness of this system using an implementation on progressive JPEG coder.
