Abstract
A frequency scanning method meant for studying bone quantity and quality was developed. It was shown that the broadband ultrasound attenuation (BUA) from the frequency scanning method was more precise that the BUA from the broadband pulse method. The precise measurement of the BUA made it possible to extract bone information embedded in the same.
