Abstract
A novel integer linear programming (ILP) model based on the sharing with complete information (SCI) model was presented. The model could be used to significantly reduce the backup path (BP) length while reducing the total bandwidth (TBW) consumption. The model is applicable when complete aggregate information on all existing active paths (AP) and backup paths (BP) is available to a centralized controller.
