Abstract
The penetration depth λ and the surface resistance Rs of BSCCO single crystals were measured at 10 GHz using a special Nb cavity. At low temperatures, δλ ∞ T2, inconsistent with pure s- or d- wave symmetry, but suggestive of strong impurity scattering. Near Tc the data are inconsistent with a two-fluid of BCS s-wave model. An unusual peak is observed in Rs near Tc and is attributed to fluctuations.
