Abstract
A low power 94 GHz radar is attractive for small cloud detection. Noise increases the spectral moments and signal power estimates variance and ultimately becomes the main factor limiting measurements accuracy. One way to investigate this problem is to test signal processing algorithms using simulated Doppler radar signals with known mean power, spectral moments, and signal to noise characteristics.
