Qualitative and quantitative improvement of optical tomographic reconstructed images via spatial deconvolution: three-dimensional case

Abstract

A straightforward spatial deconvolution operation is used to compensate for the information-blurring property of first-order perturbation algorithms for diffuse optical tomography (DOT) image reconstruction. Applying this operation to 3D DOT images significantly improves image quality.
