Quantum interference effects in N* electroproduction and propagation in nuclei

Abstract

Inspired by the results of a recent (γ*,pπ-) measurement, a mechanism is proposed for N* electroproduction and propagation in nuclei at high momentum transfer. Quantum interference effects predicted by our model could be observed in an exclusive measurement under suitable kinematic conditions and momentum resolution.
