Abstract

Hartree-Fock momentum wavefunctions have been used with the impulse approximation (IA) to calculate lineshapes for radiative electron capture (REC) x-rays emitted in 19 9F+q (q=8,9) collisions (19- and 28.5-MeV) with 10Ne. The validity of the IA for these collisions will be discussed in the region of the REC intensity peak and on the high photon energy side of that peak where molecular orbital x rays may be observed.
