Abstract

We present a sample of clusters drawn from the C4 cluster catalog of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, where particular emphasis has been placed on the correct identification of the Brightest Cluster Galaxy (BCG) and the determination of the velocity dispersion within the virial radius. In this sample, we investigate the occurence of radio-AGN activity in the BCGs. We find that the radio-loud fraction is enhanced by a factor of up to 10, compared to galaxies of the same mass that are not BCGs.
