Abstract

The observation of semihard two-particle azimuthal correlations embedded in a collective flow was discussed. A medium partonic scattering affecting both parts of a dijet independently was observed using the broadening of the back-to-back correlation. The absence of the broadening of the closed angle correlation supported the view that these pions originated from fragmentation of the same parton. No sign of the suppression of the back-to-back correlations were observed although they were broadened in central collisions.
