Abstract
A separable expansion for the two-body t matrix arising from a hard-core potential is developed using a method suggested by Weinberg. This expansion reduces the Faddeev equations to a set of coupled, one-dimensional integral equations. The convergence of the expansion to the exact result is demonstrated, and the rate of convergence is illustrated.
