Abstract

A general treatment is presented emphasizing the quantitative evaluation of the deposition of diffusive aerosols from a fluid flow past a collector. The effects of the various parameters and variables on the deposition phenomenon are considered. The determination of particle trajectories and deposition fluxes using the Brownian dynamics simulation method is discussed. (H.C.B.)
