Abstract
The authors report that lymphocytes from allogeneic bone marrow chimeras can be adoptively transferred to lethally irradiated mice syngeneic to the original recipient with maintenance of the nonreactive state. The nonreactive state was not observed, however, when cells from chimeras were transferred to lethally irradiated mice syngeneic to the original donor.
