Abstract
A possible site where large amounts of strangeness-bearing matter may be found is the interior of a neutron star. We examine here how some basic properties of neutron stars are affected by the presence of strangeness in the form of baryons, notably the Λ and Σ-, or as a Bose condensate, such as a K- meson condensate, or as strange quarks.
