Abstract
Studying how primates forage and move throughout their environment are core interests among primatologists. Thinking about movement as a proxy for spatial cognition and all the factors that influence it has exploded especially using the movement ecology framework. Strepsirrhine movement and navigation research can offer insight into the evolutionary pathways of our own cognitive capacity yet research on this taxonomic group lags work on haplorhines. Here, I review recent research on strepsirrhines in wild and captive settings that have informed us about the role of species-specific sensory toolkits and sociality on movement and navigation.
