Abstract

We demonstrated a strong optomechanical coupling in a high-quality factor (Q) air-slot mode-gap photonic crystal cavity with ultrasmall mode volume, with a coupling length L~2.9μm. Optomechanical coupling lengths with different slot gaps and lengths were also compared.
