The Lowenfeld Mosaic technique: Its clinical use and potential for facilitating self-actualization

The administration and potential clinical utility of the Lowenfeld Mosaic Test, an assessment device for which there has been renewed interest in recent years, is described. An overview of the technique is provided, as well as a case example of an adult client that demonstrates how the technique may potentially be useful both for assessment and for enhancing self-understanding and personal growth. Limitations of the technique as well as future research needs are discussed.
