Abstract
The total muon-capture rate in He3 is calculated using the elementary-particle treatment of μ capture in complex nuclei and the current commutation relations introduced by Gell-Mann. Our calculation gives Γtheor(He3)=2020 sec-1 to be compared with Γexptl(He3)=2170-430+170 sec-1.
