Abstract
Transparent windows that insulate against infrared light and heat entering buildings hold promise to reduce energy consumption. Hu et al. report the insulation of heat and infrared radiation by the functional integration of a hollow shell network and light-reflectance nanoparticles within a flexible polymer matrix.
