Abstract
Independent determinations for 36 low-Fe sedimentary dolomites revealed a bimodal distribution of composition, with each group showing different trends of lattice parameter variations. The influences of cation disorder, structural defects, and cation substitution on these trends are discussed.-J.A.Z.
